Requirements:Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an aircraft maintenance environment, preferably as Certifying Staff on applicable aircraft types. Proficient in English, both spoken and written, accompanied by strong communication skills. Experience with aviation-specific maintenance monitoring and scheduling software. Ability to work flexibly, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays on a 24/365 basis. Willingness to travel regularly based on operational requirements. Eligibility to live and work in the EU. Preferred Qualifications:Effective Part-66 B1/B2 license. Type training on Airbus A320 aircraft (Level 1, 2, or 3). Previous experience in a similar position. Familiarity with AMOS.

Join Marabu Airlines as a Maintenance Operation Control Engineer (MOCC Engineer) and be an integral part of our team, ensuring the airworthiness and operational readiness of our A320neo fleet. In this dynamic and hands-on role, you will oversee both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, collaborate closely with flight crews and maintenance providers, manage short-term planning, and lead efforts in Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations. This position is perfect for individuals possessing strong technical expertise, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset towards ensuring safe and efficient flight operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for the Marabu Airlines A320neo fleet as part of the Maintenance Control team.
  • Maintain continuous communication with flight crews, line maintenance providers, and operations control regarding fleet status and necessary maintenance actions.
  • Prepare and manage short-term maintenance planning for the MBU fleet.
  • Monitor and execute the resolution of any open defects on Marabu Airlines aircraft.
  • Identify bottlenecks and weaknesses in line maintenance operations, proactively implementing solutions to ensure a smooth maintenance process, including support for spare parts ordering and shipment management.
  • Continuously monitor the flow of line maintenance records and update the tracking system accordingly.
  • Lead AOG situation management, coordinating recovery processes from initiation until the aircraft is serviceable again.
  • Provide ongoing updates to both internal and external partners regarding the technical status of the fleet.
  • Collaborate with line maintenance providers and conduct regular visits to line stations and SCAMT providers to supervise on-site technical operations, ensuring effective communication between Marabu and its partners.
