About the Role:

As a critical member of our Operations Engineering & Maintenance Department, the Maintenance Technician II, Sterile Facilities will report directly to the Senior Facilities Manager. This role is essential for executing predictive and preventive maintenance protocols across all laboratory and facility equipment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving maintenance issues related to electrical systems, mechanical components, plumbing, air compression, and HVAC systems. While you will work independently, you will also collaborate closely with your supervisor for guidance and feedback.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Performing predictive and preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment, including blenders, hoods, air compressors, and electrical controls.

  • Accurately documenting technical maintenance data on preventive maintenance charts as required.

  • Conducting repair and troubleshooting tasks throughout the pharmacy as needed.

  • Diagnosing and repairing all lab equipment, including refrigerators and incubators, as well as addressing electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air compression, and HVAC issues.

  • Identifying facility-related issues and developing strategies to monitor and address trends effectively.
