At Vilgain, we are experiencing rapid growth, and with that comes increased complexity in our manufacturing processes. We are looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Operations Manager to ensure that our production runs smoothly, efficiently, and in accordance with established standards.
What You Will Do:
You will take charge of the daily management of production, ensuring that weekly and monthly plans are met with the required quality and timeliness.
You will set and standardize processes across production lines and implement LEAN principles aimed at enhancing performance and reducing waste.
You will regularly analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and propose actionable improvements.
You will lead the production team, responsible for capacity planning and ensuring that the team adheres to set standards and disciplines.
You will closely collaborate with the Mechanical Engineering Lead on maintenance planning to minimize unnecessary downtime and maximize production efficiency.
You will ensure compliance with hygiene standards, occupational health and safety regulations, and internal processes. You will engage in automation projects and the installation of new technologies.
What We Expect From You:
You have at least 3 years of experience in production management and team leadership , not just coordination, but accountability for results (performance, quality, meeting targets).
You can take responsibility for the daily operations and drive tasks to completion.
You possess practical experience in process optimization and standardization , ideally, you have implemented specific changes that led to improved efficiency or reduced waste.
LEAN is not just theory for you , you know how to apply it in practice (e.g., 5S) and sustain it in daily operations.
You understand quality and food safety standards (HACCP) and can maintain these standards even as production volume increases.
You excel in communication and leadership , you set clear expectations and keep the team on track.
