You will engage with advanced language models on in-depth subjects such as stress-strain analysis, HVAC systems, machine kinematics, materials selection, energy systems, manufacturing processes, and computational simulations, carefully documenting every failure mode to bolster model reasoning.
On any given day, you will interact with the model on engineering scenarios and theoretical mechanical engineering questions, verify factual accuracy and logical coherence, document reproducible error traces, and propose enhancements to our prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
A PhD in mechanical engineering or a closely related field is preferred; evidence of peer-reviewed publications, CAD/CAE project experience, system design work, or applied research in mechanical systems is highly regarded. Clear, metacognitive communication, “showing your work”, is essential.
