Strong troubleshooting skills paired with a keen attention to detail. Ability to systematically approach complex repair tasks. Willingness to perform physical tasks, including setup and post-processing. Full-time on-site availability in Palo Alto. Effective communicator capable of clearly conveying findings to engineering teams.

As a Mechanical Engineering Technician within our Robot Services team, you will be instrumental in disassembling, diagnosing, repairing, and reassembling intricate humanoid robot components. Your contributions will directly enhance design functionality and improve the reliability of our robotic systems. This hands-on position offers ample opportunities for professional growth into mechanical engineering roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute precise disassembly and repair of micro-scale mechanical assemblies.

  • Rework delicate components with sub-millimeter precision.

  • Diagnose mechanical issues through hands-on inspection and use of diagnostic tools.

  • Conduct functional testing and validate repaired components against strict standards.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to document failures and propose design enhancements.
