Education & CertificationBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. API certifications (API 653 and API 510) are mandatory. ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in mechanical inspection and 2 years managing contract scopes. Experience working with Aramco is essential; candidates should mention their SAP number and CBT completion in their CV. Proven expertise in static and rotating mechanical equipment, construction processes, pre-commissioning, and quality control activities. Knowledge & SkillsStrong technical knowledge of international codes and standards related to mechanical engineering. Ability to utilize appropriate inspection and testing tools effectively. Skilled in identifying nonconformities, conducting thorough investigations, and implementing solutions. Excellent planning and organizational skills.

We are seeking a diligent Mechanical Quality Control Inspector to ensure the highest quality standards in our projects. This role demands a proactive individual who will implement and uphold our quality management system, ensuring compliance with project specifications and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing in alignment with the established quality management system.
  • Develop and maintain inspection and test plans (ITPs) that meet project requirements and adhere to international codes and standards.
  • Document inspection results accurately and ensure status is monitored using effective tools such as inspection matrices.
  • Manage quality inspections for the mechanical discipline, including generating Requests for Inspection (RFIs) and ensuring timely execution.
  • Review and approve inspection reports and quality procedure documents submitted by subcontractors, including ITPs and Material Approval Requests (MARs).
  • Coordinate closely with clients during inspections to ensure compliance and quality assurance.
  • Lead toolbox talks to address quality concerns and reinforce standards with the construction team.
  • Oversee the inspection of incoming materials to ensure they meet specifications and standards, facilitating the return of any unacceptable materials.
  • Monitor and inspect critical mechanical activities, including site installation of equipment and alignment checks, ensuring adherence to contractual and specification requirements.
