Education:Technical education with a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience. Experience:Preferably 5 years or more of relevant experience in tank storage, petrochemicals, or chemicals. Knowledge & Expertise:Affinity with rotating equipment, mechanics, and piping. General understanding of production processes and process installations. Administrative skills are a plus. Skills & Attitude:Strong planning and organizational skills. Detail-oriented and quality-focused. Excellent communication skills. Flexible and solution-oriented. Proactive and stress-resistant.

In the role of Mechanical Supervisor at Talenco Group, you will be pivotal in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of mechanical operations.

You will oversee on-site activities, act as the technical point of contact, and ensure that all tasks are conducted in accordance with established safety, quality, and environmental regulations.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Monitoring and coordinating mechanical work in the field.

  • Resolving technical and operational issues promptly.

  • Ensuring proper usage and maintenance of tools and materials.

  • Guaranteeing adherence to modification and change procedures within your area of expertise.

  • Ordering and reserving materials for maintenance and repair projects.

Safety and Environment: Your Priority:

You will ensure a safe, clean, and environmentally friendly work environment by:

  • Strictly enforcing safety regulations and monitoring compliance by employees and contractors.

  • Actively participating in Task Risk Analyses (TRA).

  • Identifying risks and recommending preventive measures to management.

  • Overseeing the accuracy and completeness of work permits and compliance with workplace safety legislation.

  • Investigating accidents and near misses, reporting them timely and accurately.

  • Collaborating with safety services and production teams to ensure safe working conditions in the field.

  • Developing safety plans, TRA’s, and leading toolbox meetings.

  • Conducting regular Safety Observation Rounds (VOR).

  • Taking responsibility for safety, order, and cleanliness in the mechanical workshop and test benches.
