Medical Receptionist - Patient Experience Specialist

Key Responsibilities:Provide exceptional customer service and administrative support. Warmly greet patients and offer refreshments. Manage patient check-ins and ensure the appointment schedule is up-to-date. Facilitate patient check-outs and book follow-up appointments. Take responsibility for maintaining the schedule book. Direct visitors to the appropriate staff for assistance. Conduct appointment confirmation calls. Organize daily patient charts based on appointment times. Prepare new patient documentation. Keep track of front office supply inventory. Monitor and respond to emails, forwarding inquiries as necessary. Maintain an organized filing system. Ensure the Front Desk and Lobby areas are tidy. Billing duties:Process patient payments accurately. Generate and verify daily close-out reports for scheduling. Complete deposit slips for received cash and checks. Physical Demands:Accommodations will be provided for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Responsibilities may include:Using a telephone, computer, and other office equipment. Maintaining visual and auditory acuity. Standing and walking for extended periods. Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds. Key Skills and Qualifications:Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively present information to groups of clients or team members. Numerical skills for basic accounting tasks.
