Remote Medical Scribe

We are excited to invite a Medical Scribe to join our dynamic team immediately!
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Accurately document patient medical histories, symptoms, previous diagnoses, and other relevant health information.
2. Record findings from physicians or healthcare providers, follow-up instructions, and prescribed treatments.
3. Transcribe verbal orders and medical dictation related to patient care, including laboratory tests and medications.
4. Create and maintain comprehensive EHR/EMR system records.
5. Facilitate effective communication among healthcare providers, patients, and professionals.
6. Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations and institutional standards.
7. Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a medical or pharmaceutical field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant, in Medical Documentation, or a similar role.
• Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal (minimum B2 level).
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and practices.
• Proficient in EHR/EMR systems with the ability to troubleshoot common technical issues.
• Knowledge of healthcare privacy regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Tech-savvy and familiar with current technologies such as desktop sharing, cloud services, and VoIP.
• Willingness to work night shifts.
Technical Requirements:
• USB headset with noise-cancellation capabilities.
• Functional webcam.
• Main and backup computer with a minimum 1.8 GHz processor and 4GB RAM.
• Internet speed of at least 25 Mbps via a wired connection.
