Purpose
The Metrology Programmer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing inspection programs and templates across PC-DMIS, ZEISS Inspect, and PolyWorks for CMMs, portable arms, and GOM/ATOS optical systems. This role not only involves creating robust and efficient programs but also conducting hands-on inspections, operating advanced metrology equipment, and assisting technicians with reporting and data validation as required.
Acting as a technical anchor and collaborative resource, the Metrology Programmer ensures precise inspection accuracy, promotes standardization, manages programming priorities, and enhances team capabilities. Through in-depth knowledge, disciplined execution, and a consistent presence on the production floor, this role contributes to achieving precise, compliant measurement results that meet engineering specifications and improve production quality.
