Join our dynamic Infrastructure team at hugobank as a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer. This vital position focuses on the management and optimization of our AWS cloud infrastructure while ensuring compliance with security standards, especially PCI DSS. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in cloud EKS, networking, security, automation, and container orchestration, along with a solid grasp of microservice architecture. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will play a crucial role in designing, deploying, and maintaining a secure and efficient cloud infrastructure tailored to the needs of a modern banking environment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Architect, implement, and oversee AWS network infrastructure, including VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, and NACLs.
- Integrate and manage firewall solutions (Fortinet/Palo Alto) across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Configure and sustain DNS, load balancing, API Gateway, and CloudFront services to optimize application delivery.
- Implement compliance measures related to PCI DSS and other regulatory standards based on established policies.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and Pulumi.
- Collaborate with security, compliance, and product teams to ensure comprehensive documentation and adherence to banking regulations.
- Provide support during business hours and participate in on-call rotations as required.
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, security, and cost-efficiency, employing monitoring tools like Grafana.
- Support containerized application deployments utilizing Kubernetes and EKS, in line with microservice architecture principles.
- Manage identity and access management policies to enforce secure access across AWS resources.
