About YouTo thrive in this role, you should possess:A minimum of 3 years of experience in a full-cycle SaaS sales position, particularly within technical software in the data, data science/machine learning, or analytics domains. The ability to comprehend and teach complex technical concepts. Confidence in discussing the challenges faced by data practitioners in their daily workflows. A passion for and curiosity about the data and analytics landscape. The capability to manage a substantial pipeline of intricate opportunities. A willingness to learn basic SQL if you haven’t already. A collaborative spirit, with enthusiasm for teamwork and the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional colleagues such as product, engineering, and customer success teams. Comfort in a fast-paced and often ambiguous work environment. A love for giving and receiving constructive feedback.

Since its inception in August 2021, Hex Technologies has been rapidly expanding its Sales team and customer base, gaining significant traction in the market. We are committed to establishing a premier sales organization, and we are seeking a talented Account Executive to join our Mid-Market Sales team, focusing on businesses with up to 2,500 employees. Our success in this segment has been remarkable, and we plan to intensify our efforts to make Mid-Market accounts pivotal to our growth strategy.

In this position, you will directly report to the Mid-Market Sales Leader. Your responsibilities will include strategizing and executing plans to close new business opportunities and enhance our existing customer relationships.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Building a robust pipeline and driving revenue within your designated territory.
  • Gaining in-depth knowledge of your customers' business challenges and effectively positioning Hex as the optimal solution.
  • Collaborating with Sales Engineering to conduct discovery sessions and product demonstrations.
  • Managing the entire sales cycle, which includes lead generation, qualification, and all necessary activities to successfully close deals while consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets.
  • Providing valuable feedback to engineering, product management, and marketing teams.
  • Generating and delivering precise forecasts.
