Role overview
Absorb Software seeks a Mid-Market Account Manager to join the team remotely from anywhere in Canada. This role centers on helping customers realize the full value of Absorb’s solutions. Success in this position means driving revenue growth through upsell and cross-sell, tailoring products to fit each client’s business, and supporting ongoing client needs.
What you will do
- Increase net dollar retention by identifying and executing upsell and cross-sell opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Negotiate contract renewals with a focus on growing Annual Recurring Revenue and building long-term client partnerships.
- Find, develop, and close new sales opportunities with existing clients.
- Prepare proposals and sales documentation to support the sales cycle.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to support their ongoing success.
- Track, manage, and report on your sales pipeline on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Develop a thorough understanding of Absorb’s subscription models to address client questions and concerns.
- Participate in team meetings and projects aimed at improving sales processes and results.
- Work closely with colleagues across teams to support the client journey.
- Stay up to date on product updates and attend training sessions to maintain deep product knowledge.
Requirements
- Experience building and maintaining client relationships.
- Comfortable working toward sales quotas focused on net retention.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Clear communication and solid presentation abilities.
