Preferred QualificationsExperience:Prior teaching experience with students from demographics similar to those of KIPP Public Schools Northern California. Education:B. A./B. S. degree from a regionally accredited institution. Meets one of the following criteria:Possession of a valid teaching credential in the relevant subject area, orEligibility for a Provisional Internship Permit, orEligibility for a Short Term Staff Permit. Essential Skills:Commitment to the KIPP mission and vision. Dedication to being an anti-racist educator. Belief in the potential of all students to excel academically. Strong content knowledge in science. Ability to build meaningful relationships with students, families, and communities. Effective communication skills with students, families, and colleagues. Proficiency in Google Suite applications (Google Classroom, Hangouts, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
