Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving transformation? MSX International is in search of an enthusiastic individual to spearhead our Mobile Service program. This position transcends traditional automotive roles; you will function as a consultant, sales coach, and hands-on trainer all in one. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with dealership owners to embrace the future of automotive service, guiding their management teams towards increased profitability, while also engaging directly with technicians in our mobile units to demonstrate best practices.
- Business Growth & Sales (50%): Consult with Dealer Principals and Service Managers, effectively communicating the vision, addressing objections, and developing a profitable business model.
- Change Management (25%): Implement new processes, analyze KPIs, and rectify ineffective dealership practices.
- Hands-On Technical Training (25%): Engage directly in the Mobile Unit, showcasing procedures and training technicians in real-world settings.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Mobile Service implementation, sales, operations, and workflow process mapping.
- Deliver both technical and non-technical training at dealerships and other venues within the assigned territory, as well as virtually. Training topics include new MS unit launch support, MS unit discovery, systems training, vehicle service & repair procedures, MS demand generation, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
- Instruct technicians on proper vehicle lifting procedures, oil change protocols, and vehicle inspection processes.
- Support and conduct various non-technical training sessions.
- Teach techniques for building rapport with customers, active listening, and professional sales training aimed at enhancing customer experience and boosting revenue in the Mobile Service department.
- Assist dealership management in developing and executing market strategies.
- Monitor dealership processes and provide root cause analysis, action planning, and training to enhance performance with proven ROI strategies.
- Track all KPIs for dealerships within the territory and offer guidance to management to meet sales targets.
- Ensure an effective parts stocking strategy to support Mobile Service operations.
- Develop a parts stocking plan for Mobile Service units to facilitate planned repairs and additional service opportunities.
- Assist in recruiting and retaining Mobile Service Technicians and Coordinators.
Physical Requirements: This role is physically demanding as you will be demonstrating and training on Mobile Service Van repair processes. To effectively train our teams, you must be able to:
- Observe and demonstrate Mobile Service techniques clearly and effectively.
