Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science. U. S. citizenship is required, and dual citizenship must be disclosed. Possession of or ability to obtain security clearance is preferred. A minimum of 6 years of experience in modeling, simulation, and analysis. Over 10 years of industry experience. Strong knowledge of turbomachinery and aircraft engines. Familiarity with DO-178C and DO-331 standards. Experience with ARP 4754 is strongly preferred. Interest in diagnosing complex hardware, system, and software issues. Proficient in Model-based Development using MATLAB/Simulink, DOORS (or equivalent Requirement Management System), SVN (Subversion). Basic understanding of protocols such as CAN, ARINC, RS-422, and Ethernet. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a team player. Ability to work independently and lead specific work packages.

CS Group USA is seeking a talented Model-Based Developer Engineer (MBD) to design and enhance embedded systems and software. The role involves executing tests and analyzing results to ensure the performance and accuracy of systems.

This is an onsite position located in East Hartford, CT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in Model-Based Design utilizing MATLAB/Simulink and scripting with MATLAB.
  • Experience in Control Modeling, troubleshooting models, and managing requirements.
  • Design, modify, and improve engine control laws.
  • Expertise in functional and logical decomposition of systems and developing requirements.
  • Skilled in converting document-based systems to model-based architectures.
  • Implement model-based architecture and engineering practices and standards.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Python programming.
  • Execute project plans independently.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members, ensuring adherence to quality standards and fostering collaboration.
  • Review and validate design work conducted by team members for accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Communicate effectively with project teams and leadership to facilitate prompt issue resolution.
  • Comply with regulatory standards, notably DO-178C and DO-330.
