Qualifications:Graduation from an accredited 2-year Radiology program. Current licensure and registration as a Radiologic Technologist with the New York State Department of Health. MRI certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI. Experience with additional imaging modalities is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate and diplomatic communication style. Dedication to excellence, high standards, and teamwork.

Our clinicians also have access to the Atria Academy of Science & Medicine, connecting them with top experts for rapid consultations and referrals.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Execute MRI scans adhering to Atria's safety protocols and procedures.
  • Utilize advanced MRI equipment with precision to yield accurate and clinically meaningful results; review physician orders and patient histories to establish correlations with anatomical features.
  • Conduct thorough screenings of all patients prior to entering the MRI exam room, assessing for any safety concerns related to the strong magnetic field.
  • Exhibit computer literacy with PAC and RIS systems and other required technologies.
  • Uphold exceptional standards of patient care and communicate effectively and positively with colleagues, physicians, patients, and visitors.
  • Assist in performing other imaging modalities as needed (CT, Dexa, X-ray) with a primary focus on MRI.
  • Work full-time, with a commitment of 3 to 4 days per week.
  • Compensation ranges from $65 to $80 per hour.
