As a Network Administrator I at our Lincoln, Rhode Island location, you will play a pivotal role in configuring, monitoring, and managing local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), user accounts, and desktop systems. This position serves as the first line of support for technical issues, including hardware, software, and connectivity challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Active Directory for users/groups/permissions/roles.
  • Oversee the company's Office365 environment.
  • Utilize monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG) to track system resources and address critical issues.
  • Manage company-wide backup processes with Veeam Backup and Replication Suite.
  • Handle user authority adjustments for internal applications.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to local and wide area networks, personal computers, and networking equipment.
  • Address end-user inquiries regarding network access and software operations.
  • Efficiently manage help desk support tickets via ticketing software.
  • Respond to security incident tickets from our managed security service provider (MSSP).
  • Apply OS, firmware, and application updates while adhering to security policies and change management procedures.
  • Support and monitor endpoint security tools, escalating threats as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of network devices and software inventory.
  • Assist in the configuration and support of VPN clients and remote desktop solutions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
