Required Qualifications:Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, or Maritime Engineering. Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical development for industrial, robotic, or automation systems. Practical experience in testing and validating both prototypes and serial production products. Proficiency in CAD tools, preferably CATIA V5.Comprehensive understanding of the product lifecycle from prototyping to series production, along with systems engineering methodologies. Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, and additive manufacturing (3D printing) for prototyping and low-volume production. Solid grasp of mechanical integration with electronics and embedded systems. Highly self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership over your responsibilities. Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.

Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical and mechatronic subsystems for drone ports and related systems in both ground and maritime environments.

  • Collaborate on the overall system architecture, ensuring alignment of requirements and capabilities from a systems engineering viewpoint.

  • Select suitable materials and define production processes that meet structural, thermal, and environmental specifications.

  • Validate designs through prototyping, stress analysis, and simulation, taking full ownership throughout the prototyping cycle, including assembly and testing.

  • Support the validation of serial products, investigate root causes of issues, and provide feedback to enhance production processes.

  • Ensure designs are scalable for series production, while considering supply chain constraints and design for manufacturing (DFM) principles.
