Your Mission
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating all hygiene and cleaning operations across our production and warehouse facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations while supporting our company's quality and operational objectives.
This fast-paced role requires strong focus, stamina, and hands-on leadership to balance quality, efficiency, and safety within the hygiene operations. You will lead a dedicated hygiene team, ensuring that our cleaning practices are efficient and audit-ready, while fostering a supportive environment that drives performance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Supervision and Team Leadership
- Lead and manage hygiene staff across production and warehouse areas.
- Plan, assign, and monitor daily cleaning tasks to align with operational schedules.
- Train and develop cleaning personnel on hygiene protocols, safety measures, and equipment handling.
- Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate team growth.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, health & safety, and company standards.
Hygiene Management
- Develop and uphold comprehensive cleaning schedules for all site areas.
- Oversee deep cleaning efforts during shutdowns or product transitions.
- Assess cleaning effectiveness through inspections, swab tests, and visual assessments.
- Guarantee the safe and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, adhering to COSHH regulations.
- Maintain thorough hygiene records and ensure the traceability of cleaning tasks.
- Collaborate with Production and Quality departments to address hygiene-related concerns.
Compliance and Continuous Improvement
- Ensure adherence to pertinent food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, etc.) and foster an environment of continuous improvement.
