REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Graduation from an RN program; BSN preferred. Current RN licensure in Minnesota. Current RN licensure in Wisconsin obtained within two months of hire. At least two years of nursing and customer service experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Intermediate proficiency with PC software, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances. Availability to work some evenings and weekends, including on-call rotations.

Join our dynamic team at HealthPartners as a Nurse Supervisor for our 24/7 Telephone Triage Center (CareLine). In this pivotal role, you will lead and guide CareLine staff, oversee daily operations, ensure quality assurance, and provide valuable feedback to enhance team performance. You will also play an essential part in reporting, auditing, and implementing process improvements.

SCHEDULE:

This position requires evening shifts until 12:30 AM on most weeknights and every other weekend, with flexible scheduling options for 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts based on your preference.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise CareLine RN staff, including hiring, training, coaching, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
  • Set clear expectations and hold staff accountable for their performance.
  • Engage in regular guideline reviews and serve as a liaison to Care Delivery Supervisors.
  • Document and maintain business processes and procedures.
  • Address escalated customer concerns with exceptional service.
  • Utilize quality data to monitor team and individual performance metrics.
  • Provide feedback to management on team dynamics and performance.
  • Develop and sustain the Quality Assurance Program.
  • Train new hires on quality assurance practices.
  • Analyze monthly reporting data for departmental metrics and recommend resource allocations.
  • Support policy and procedural updates within the department.
  • Participate in business continuity planning and execution.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary to meet patient and departmental goals.
