Role Overview:
As an Open Source Advocate, you will champion our cloud networking solutions and AI initiatives, particularly as the convergence between these domains grows. You will engage actively within our open-source project community through platforms like Slack and Discord, creating technical content, blogs, workshops, webinars, and delivering presentations at conferences and meetups. This role includes direct interactions with end-users and customers to address their inquiries, resolve challenges, and document success stories. You will collaborate with our product and engineering teams to align our offerings with community needs and contribute to the evolution of networking and AI infrastructures.
You will work with cutting-edge technologies, including Kubernetes, Envoy, and Istio, and explore AI tools, protocols, and standards such as MCP and A2A. Gathering user feedback will be crucial for enhancing adoption and simplifying the usability of complex technologies.
This position may require 10-30% travel for speaking engagements at conferences or meetups.
Note: We currently cannot sponsor work visas for this position. While this is a remote opportunity for applicants based in the US, Canada, and the UK, we may consider candidates from other regions with a proven track record as technical leaders and influencers within the open-source community.
