QualificationsProven experience (3 to 7 years) in Unix/Linux administration, including RHEL; familiarity with AIX or Solaris is a plus. Expertise in OpenShift or Kubernetes in production: installation IPI/UPI, operations, troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of storage, network, and security environments: NAS/SAN, DNS, TLS, firewalls, load balancing. Advanced skills in Kubernetes/OpenShift concepts: resources, operators, RBAC, SCC, NetworkPolicy, lifecycle management. Familiarity with IdP integration mechanisms (Keycloak, Azure AD) and governance tools (OPA/Gatekeeper). Knowledge of observability solutions: EFK/Loki, Prometheus/Grafana, alerting, SIEM integration. Proficiency in at least one enterprise backup solution (NetBackup, Veeam, Commvault, etc.). Strong ability to diagnose complex issues (pods, nodes, network, storage, scheduling) and lead technical projects. Experience in the banking/financial sector or other regulated industries is advantageous.

We are excited to announce an opening for an OpenShift & Unix/Linux Engineer to strengthen our client's team based in Geneva. This role is situated within a demanding environment, where you will be involved in the design, deployment, and operation of Red Hat OpenShift platforms, as well as advanced administration of Unix/Linux infrastructures. Your contributions will enhance the stability, security, and evolution of critical platforms, focusing on system, storage, network, and compliance dimensions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, install, and manage OpenShift platforms and their components in Unix/Linux environments.

  • Oversee the lifecycle of clusters: updates, patches, hardening, and compliance.

  • Optimize system performance and capacity while leading continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Manage data storage and persistence (PV/PVC, CSI, NAS/SAN) ensuring availability.

  • Implement and validate security measures (RBAC, IdP, access policies, audits) and resolve advanced technical incidents.

  • Contribute to business continuity: backups/restorations, DR/BCP plans, documentation, and operational procedures.
