Visualsoft seeks an Outbound Sales Development Representative to join the sales team in Stockton-on-Tees. This role centers on outbound telesales and direct engagement with potential customers. The main goal: support the sales pipeline by converting leads into booked appointments and event attendees.
Key Responsibilities
- Make a high volume of outbound calls to targeted prospect lists.
- Send follow-up emails to confirm agreements made during calls.
- Qualify leads and schedule appointments directly into sales consultants’ calendars.
- Explain Visualsoft’s products, services, and solutions to generate interest.
- Ensure all appointments meet agreed qualification criteria.
- Confirm, remind, and follow up on appointments to maximize attendance.
- Promote webinars, workshops, and in-person events to prospects and customers.
- Secure registrations and confirmations for events, and follow up to reduce no-shows.
- Gather feedback and outline next steps after each event.
- Use marketing campaigns, call lists, and lead databases efficiently.
- Accurately log all calls, outcomes, and notes in the CRM system.
- Track call volumes, appointments booked, and event attendance rates.
- Work with sales and marketing teams to improve scripts and messaging.
Performance Metrics
- Performance measured against clear, evolving targets as proficiency grows.
- Key metrics include:
- Daily and weekly outbound call numbers
- Number of qualified leads generated
- Appointments booked for sales consultants
- Attendance rate for booked appointments
- Event registrations and attendance conversion
