Reporting directly to the Site Director, your leadership will guide a talented group of Sous Chefs and Cooks, ensuring that our culinary creations consistently meet the highest standards of quality, with uniformity in every batch produced while maintaining efficient production schedules. As an integral part of our Kitchen Operations team, you will contribute significantly to delivering exceptional products to our customers on a weekly basis, all while facilitating rapid business growth.Your Responsibilities:Supervise product quality, food safety, and personnel safety in a large-scale production kitchen during our newly launched second shift.Guarantee that every meal produced meets the highest quality standards in taste, presentation, texture, and aroma.Work collaboratively with the Executive Chef and Recipe Developers to continuously enhance product quality and optimize internal processes.Mentor and develop a skilled team of Sous Chefs and kitchen staff across various operational tasks, including preparation, cooking, assembly, and cooling.Design, implement, and assess the effectiveness of process controls throughout the kitchen.Monitor and manage performance metrics related to safety, quality, efficiency, cost, and team morale.Provide regular updates to the Executive Chef, analyze any performance discrepancies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the kitchen.Ensure maintenance and cleanliness of the kitchen, including all equipment and inventory management.Adhere to the highest health and safety standards in alignment with federal and provincial regulations.Oversee food storage, rotation, and quality management.Collaborate with other departments to spearhead plant-wide process improvement initiatives.Make real-time adjustments to production processes to ensure that production goals are met.Engage in all areas of the production facility, including refrigerated sections, handling tasks from ingredient receipt to order fulfillment.Comply with Occupational Health and Safety regulations and report any workplace hazards to management.Perform other duties as assigned.
