As the Manager of Treatment & Expertise, you will lead the Valuable Life team - Relationships & Vitality. This team is part of a cluster of three complementary teams encompassing various medical and therapeutic disciplines, each with its own manager. This structural design arose from the clear desire of professionals for more accessible and visible leadership, and to foster a stronger connection between disciplines.The strength of Treatment & Expertise lies in the close collaboration among the three teams and with the care locations. You will actively contribute to this synergy and recognize the importance of working beyond team boundaries.The Relationships & Vitality team focuses on psychosocial functioning, behavior, meaning, and the relationships between clients, their loved ones, and care professionals. The team is composed of spiritual caregivers, social workers, behavioral coaches, family guides, informal care coordinators, and therapists (in visual arts, music, psychomotor therapy, and artistic therapy), as well as dietitians and speech therapists. The team consists of approximately 38 employees, equating to 24 FTE.You will be responsible for the development of your team, positioning these disciplines within Attent, and enhancing coherence through interdisciplinary cooperation in supporting clients and their networks. You will translate strategic policies into tactical and operational plans, ensuring that professionals can contribute optimally to a valuable life for our clients.As a supportive and coaching leader, you will be visible to your team. You understand the dynamics of various (para)medical and psychosocial disciplines, and you skillfully connect their uniqueness to shared goals. When your work is executed well, colleagues experience clarity and professional autonomy, collaboration with care teams strengthens, and clients and their families notice that support regarding behavior, meaning, and vitality is better aligned.In this role, you navigate the tension between professional autonomy and organizational interests. You provide space for expertise and in-depth content while being responsible for clear decisions regarding prioritization, capacity, and resource allocation. You acknowledge that not all outcomes from psychosocial and therapeutic support are immediately quantifiable; however, you can make these insights visible and discuss them in relation to quality, collaboration, and effectiveness.
