Position Summary:We are in search of a skilled mid-level Environmental Cost Estimator to enhance our environmental remediation projects. In this role, you will facilitate environmental initiatives for the USEPA, USACE/DoD clients, and various other agencies throughout the United States and its territories. Your responsibilities will encompass proposal support, remedial design assistance, supervision of remedial actions (RA), in situ thermal treatment, demolition, mine-waste cleanup, landfill cap construction, contaminated sediment removals, and groundwater treatment (both in-situ and pump-and-treat) and stabilization projects.This position is fully remote with occasional travel required (up to 15-20%).Key Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive engineering studies, plans, designs, and specifications for the remediation of environmental contamination. Assist Program, Operations, and Project Managers by evaluating project requirements and crafting precise cost estimates. Create Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and/or Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) estimates encompassing labor, equipment, materials/supplies, and subcontractor necessities. Draft initial project schedules to support cost estimates, incorporating tasks aligned with Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Identify the performance period, including optional periods that may be executed. Compile and present the prepared estimates, including all supporting information, rates, costs, units, quotes, etc. Maintain a cost database for all submitted bids and collaborate with company resources to continuously refine the database with site-specific, regional, and scope-specific data.
