Location: This role is available on a hybrid basis at our Freiburg office, Germany, facilitating close collaboration with our engineering team.
Your Role
We are seeking a dedicated Software Engineering Intern to assist our Satellite Technology team in enhancing internal engineering tools and documentation systems utilized in satellite development. Throughout this internship, you will gain practical experience collaborating with engineers on authentic systems engineering workflows and software tools that facilitate the development and operational management of our satellite constellation.
You will work alongside seasoned engineers and receive valuable mentorship throughout your internship journey.
This is a paid internship (Pflichtpraktikum) as part of a university degree program, compliant with German labor regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining and enhancing internal systems engineering documentation platforms.
Help develop automation tools for requirements management, task tracking, and visualization.
Support the integration of external data sources via APIs.
Assist engineers in utilizing and refining internal documentation and tools.
Contribute to the optimization of internal engineering workflows and processes.
All activities will be conducted under supervision and aligned with the educational objectives of the internship.
