We are currently seeking a dedicated Participatiemedewerker at B&A Civic in Amsterdam Zuidoost!
Your Role:
As a Participatiemedewerker, your primary focus will be on promoting participation and activation among residents. Your mission is to collaboratively uncover their motivation and talents, ensuring they are utilized effectively. Your base will be Civic Amsterdam, but you will frequently be on the move, working across various locations in Amsterdam.
How You Will Work:
You will conduct comprehensive intakes with individuals seeking guidance and organize a variety of community activities. You will assist residents in finding (volunteer) work and provide support when they encounter obstacles on their path to participation. Alongside one-on-one support, you will also inspire and engage individuals in group settings. By organizing activities and information sessions, you’ll effectively reach diverse target groups. Your strength lies in uniting community members and implementing creative solutions and initiatives. You will be well-informed about local issues and know the right channels to facilitate progress. You will think critically across various life areas and possess knowledge of the social work sector. Your guidance will be motivating yet realistic, emphasizing residents' strengths and fostering self-reliance. You will provide groups with information about Civic Amsterdam's offerings and collaborate with colleagues to develop new training programs that align with current needs and trends. A strong affinity for social media is also essential, as you will enjoy promoting offerings online.
