What You Will Do:
- We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to spearhead Ebury's compliance efforts in payments and cards. This pivotal role resides within the Group Compliance function, reporting directly to the Group Compliance Director while also coordinating with the Head of Product Compliance on the broader compliance program. You will manage any Payments & Cards Compliance Analysts as they are recruited.
- This position is available in both the UK and Europe. Whether based in London, Madrid, or Brussels, you will navigate Ebury's comprehensive regulatory landscape, encompassing FCA-regulated activities in the UK and NBB/EEA-regulated activities across the EU. Comfort with both regimes is essential as you advise product teams on differing, overlapping, or changing requirements.
- The direct reporting to the Group Compliance Director underscores the role's significance and the necessity for experienced oversight as Ebury's payments and cards product offerings, and their regulatory demands, grow increasingly complex. You will have immediate access to senior compliance leadership while collaborating closely with the Head of Product Compliance for daily oversight of products and systems.
- You will serve as Ebury's foremost compliance authority on payments and cards, responsible for the regulatory compliance framework within this domain, advising product and engineering teams on regulatory stipulations, overseeing product launches and significant changes, and managing relationships with regulators, banking partners, and card schemes across the UK and EU. Additionally, you will be the subject matter expert and escalation point for your analyst, actively enhancing their expertise and capabilities.
- This is a hands-on, expert-level position requiring in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements.
