Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with fellow instructors to prepare, administer, and grade course examinations, including final evaluations.
- Ensure accurate attendance and grade records are maintained and submitted timely.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and assessment of instructional initiatives to uphold program quality.
- Lead the orientation process for new faculty in both theoretical and clinical settings.
- Apply effective teaching principles tailored to adult learners.
- Continuously seek to enhance the quality of instruction.
- Demonstrate or acquire skills to effectively utilize online activities to enrich course materials.
- Maintain comprehensive student records, including attendance and clinical performance.
- Timely submission of required reports and documentation to the program director.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and safety regulations.
- Engage in committee activities that further the mission of the nursing program.
- Attend faculty meetings and contribute to collaborative discussions.
- Plan and oversee student clinical experiences in designated healthcare facilities.
- Assess student performance against clinical learning outcomes as per Unitek College policies.
- Provide immediate feedback on clinical performance following observations.
- Assist in maintaining thorough records of clinical attendance and performance metrics.
- Ensure clinical assignments align with both student and facility needs.
- Determine optimal methods for observing, instructing, and evaluating students.
- Verify that clinical facilities meet health and safety standards for Unitek College students.
- Facilitate ongoing communication with students through scheduled office hours and electronic means.
- Participate actively in student advising initiatives.
