This is a full-time, field-based role. Candidates must live within the primary service area in Austin, TX and be available for in-person work five days a week.
Role Overview: Physician Liaison / Provider Partnerships Manager
The Physician Liaison / Provider Partnerships Manager focuses on generating patient referrals through active community engagement and local partnerships. The main goal is to increase referrals to Alpaca Health by building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare providers, including primary care physicians, pediatricians, and other professionals who refer patients for ABA therapy and autism assessments.
What You Will Do
This position serves as Alpaca Health’s representative in the community. The role centers on developing, nurturing, and expanding a network of referral sources, physicians, diagnosticians, schools, and community organizations, to ensure a steady stream of well-matched client referrals for provider partners.
Success in this role comes from strong relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of trust in healthcare referrals, and a genuine interest in engaging with the community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Spotting Opportunities: Identify new provider partner leads through research and outreach.
- Connecting & Converting: Contact potential leads and bring them on board as referral partners.
- Fostering & Strengthening Relationships: Maintain and grow existing partnerships through regular in-person visits, emails, and other meaningful interactions.
