The Role:
To support our ongoing growth and scalability, we are enhancing our Supply Chain organization by adding a Planning Lead. This individual will spearhead planning initiatives, facilitate cross-functional alignment, and ensure dependable execution across demand, supply, and materials.
This hybrid role encompasses team leadership, strategic decision-making, and hands-on execution, playing a vital role in stabilizing and scaling our planning processes. The Planning Lead will be instrumental in enhancing visibility, optimizing inventory performance, and facilitating the company's expansion efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the entire planning process, encompassing demand, supply, and materials planning.
- Manage and nurture the Planning team (Supply Planner and Materials Planner), establishing clear priorities and ensuring effective execution.
- Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, aligning efforts across Commercial, Operations, and Supply Chain.
- Guarantee product availability and material preparedness while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Engage in operational execution as necessary, supporting supply and materials planning decisions.
- Identify supply, inventory, or capacity risks and devise mitigation plans.
- Establish and track key planning KPIs, such as service levels, inventory health, and adherence to plans.
- Drive enhancements in planning processes, tools, and data visibility.
- Collaborate closely with Procurement, Production, Logistics, and Commercial teams to ensure synchronized execution.
- Provide leadership with insights regarding supply chain performance, risks, and planning scenarios.
