Pre-Sales Manager
Location: Ivory Coast
Reports to: Senior Vice President - Global Sales
About the Role:
The Pre-Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in aligning technical and commercial solutions throughout the sales process for digital lending and financial service platforms. This position serves as a crucial link between business, technology, risk, and operations, ensuring the design of viable, scalable, and profitable deployments for a diverse range of clients, including banks, telecom companies, microfinance institutions, and digital wallets.
In this role, you will ensure that the solutions proposed are not only aligned with client requirements but also safeguard the company's financial interests, risk exposure, and delivery capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support
- Facilitate discovery sessions with clients to assess business models, regulatory frameworks, and operational constraints.
- Convert client needs into comprehensive business and functional specifications.
- Assist in the preparation of RFPs, RFIs, and commercial proposals.
- Create solution presentations, demonstrations, and architectural diagrams.
- Provide technical and product knowledge during negotiations.
Commercial Structuring & Business Case Development
- Develop financial models for lending initiatives, including portfolio sizing, unit economics, and profitability assessments.
- Support pricing strategies and revenue-sharing negotiations.
- Evaluate partner contributions in terms of funding, distribution, infrastructure, and operational support.
- Identify risks and assess operational cost implications.
- Ensure the commercial viability of agreements prior to finalization.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as a liaison between Sales, Product, Risk, Engineering, and Operations teams.
- Align solution feasibility with product capabilities and strategic roadmap.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for proposal validation.
- Prepare documentation for implementation teams following handover.
Product Positioning & Thought Leadership
- Clearly communicate the value proposition tailored to specific market segments (banks, telecoms, fintechs).
- Educate clients on best practices in digital lending.
- Assist in go-to-market strategies and product positioning efforts.
- Provide market feedback to product development teams.
