Role Overview:
We are in search of a skilled and passionate Principal Engineer for our Data Infrastructure team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to excel in a fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing team, with ample opportunities for career growth.
As Sezzle continues to expand, so does our data generation and consumption. We recognize the value of data and strive to empower our engineers and the broader organization to read, write, and analyze large datasets efficiently.
Our technology stack includes MySQL, Postgres, and Redshift, utilizing AWS tools such as Aurora RDS and DMS. We employ DBT-based transformations to manage a growing data lake that supports multiple data warehouses. While our current system has proven effective, we are excited to explore new tools and technologies to enhance our capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee our database and data warehousing infrastructure, ensuring performance metrics and service level agreements are met, including MySQL, Postgres, CDC capture, and Redshift.
