About the Role:
We are in search of a highly skilled and motivated Principal Engineer specializing in Data Infrastructure. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment within a rapidly expanding team, with abundant opportunities for career advancement.
As Sezzle grows, so does our data generation and utilization, and we aim to empower our business and engineering teams, along with the entire organization, to efficiently read, write, and analyze substantial volumes of data.
Our technology stack heavily utilizes MySQL, Postgres, and Redshift, along with AWS tools such as Aurora RDS and DMS. We implement DBT-based transformations and similar toolkits to build a rapidly expanding data lake that supports multiple data warehouses. Our current architecture has served us well thus far, and we are eager to enhance it further while exploring new tools and technologies.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee end-to-end ownership of our database and data warehousing infrastructure, including KPIs and SLAs for MySQL, Postgres, CDC capture, and Redshift.
