About the Role:
We are looking for an innovative and hands-on Principal AI Engineer to be a cornerstone of our Content portfolio strategy. You will bring cutting-edge AI expertise into our product assortment, focusing on researching, architecting, and pioneering solutions that extract intelligent insights from millions of unstructured documents and multimedia files daily.
This is an exceptional opportunity to serve as a 'founding engineer' and influence the future of AI at AlphaSense. As the primary authority on AI/ML, you will identify and implement state-of-the-art techniques for document classification, entity extraction, image search, and beyond. If you are an experienced engineer who enjoys tackling large-scale data challenges and aims to build a center of excellence from the ground up, this position is ideal for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive AI Innovation: As the chief technical expert on AI, you will research, assess, and prototype innovative solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), Computer Vision, and various machine learning methodologies to address our most challenging data extraction tasks.
- Architect for Scale: Design and implement robust, scalable, and cost-efficient AI services and data processing pipelines. Your architecture will serve as the foundation for processing millions of documents and multimedia files efficiently.
