Production & Process Knowledge:Hands-on experience in setting up and maintaining production lines in an assembly environment. Strong understanding of Lean Management principles, coupled with a passion for quality and process optimization. Interest in researching and integrating new developments in production technology. Skills & Mindset:Proactive problem solver with a hands-on approach. Dynamic, with a strong sense of initiative and resilience under pressure. Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Education & Technical Expertise:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience. Electromechanical background with experience in electrical and mechanical components. Knowledgeable in work instruction software.

About the job

As a Process Engineer at Movu, you will play a pivotal role in driving process enhancements across our various assembly lines. Serving as the focal point of communication, you will work in close collaboration with product engineers, supervisors, and production teams. Your expertise will help translate the process roadmap established by the Production Manager into an efficient and streamlined assembly operation.

Your objective will be to optimize workflows, enhance production layouts, introduce innovative process improvements, and facilitate the seamless integration of new products and methodologies into our production systems.

With a proactive and hands-on approach, you will thrive on the shop floor, ensuring operational efficiency and addressing challenges before they escalate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Optimization & Implementation: Develop and refine assembly processes to minimize technical issues and continually boost production output.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate the smooth transition of new products into production, ensuring they are manufacturable and efficient. Create effective assembly techniques for new product launches, and develop comprehensive process documentation and training materials to assist production teams in adapting to new methodologies. Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to ensure new designs are compatible with production capabilities and quality standards.
  • Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement: Propel efficiency by implementing Lean principles and nurturing a culture of ongoing process enhancements.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all activities adhere to QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health, Environment) standards, policies, and local regulations.
  • Product & Process Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production workflows, repairs, and on-site challenges, providing valuable insights to the R&D team.
  • Material & Workflow Management: Adjust material lists and create effective routing strategies for smooth production transitions.
