Solid understanding of transactional products such as wallets, airtime/VAS, top-up systems, or payment integrations. Ability to convert client needs into functional and technical specifications. Comfortable working with APIs, system diagrams, and integration workflows. Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead discussions with clients and engineering teams confidently.

Job Summary: Creative Chaos is seeking a talented Product Manager to spearhead the execution of innovative products within our transit payments, airtime distribution, and digital wallet systems. This pivotal role integrates product strategy, requirement analysis, cross-departmental collaboration, and oversight of product delivery. You will partner closely with engineering, operations, and external stakeholders to launch dependable and scalable fintech solutions.

This position is not purely technical; however, familiarity with APIs, integration flows, and platform constraints is essential. Reporting to senior product leadership, you will engage directly with telecommunications partners, transport authorities, engineering teams, and internal business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Discovery

  • Lead the discovery process for new features, market demands, and client-driven enhancements.
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer needs across mass transit, telecommunications integrations, and payment workflows.
  • Assist in formulating the product vision, roadmap, and success metrics for your area of responsibility.

Execution & Delivery

  • Draft comprehensive and clear requirements documents (BRDs, PRDs, user flows, technical specifications).
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define project scope, estimate efforts, and plan agile sprints.
  • Work alongside design teams to ensure user-centric designs across mobile, web, and agent applications.
  • Monitor execution, manage releases, and ensure quality for critical systems.

Client & Partner Engagement

  • Act as the product liaison for telecommunications companies, financial institutions, and transport authorities.
  • Facilitate requirement workshops, clarify functional needs, and coordinate technical integration details.
  • Support client onboarding, User Acceptance Testing cycles, launch readiness, and post-launch optimizations.

Technical Alignment

  • Collaborate with engineering on API orchestration, backend flows, and platform scalability.
  • Understand constraints related to:
    • Telecommunications APIs
    • Payment rails (EMV, ISO8583)
    • NFC/contactless flows
    • USSD/SIM channels
    • Participate in design reviews, testing phases, and solution discussions.
