Production Associate

The Role
As a vital member of our production team, your primary responsibility will be to ensure our growing number of orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will collaborate with various departments, including our cutting-edge glazing lab, stock management, and fulfillment logistics, to support our 20 stunning retail stores and digital platforms, ultimately enhancing our customer experience.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Quality Control & Glazing: Convert frames into high-quality spectacles that adhere to Cubitts' stringent standards, performing thorough inspections throughout the glazing and finishing stages.
- Shipping & Dispatch: Oversee the dispatch process to guarantee timely delivery of orders to customers and stores, ensuring they arrive in pristine condition.
- Order & Inventory Support: Address inquiries from retail locations and internal teams, facilitating seamless communication and resolution of issues. Maintain accurate stock levels and inventory records.
- Process Implementation & Efficiency: Identify and propose enhancements to workflows and procedures, aiming to streamline operations, minimize errors, and boost productivity.
- Troubleshooting: Swiftly diagnose production, lab, or dispatch issues and collaborate with relevant teams to implement solutions.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Foster effective communication with various teams including workshop, inventory, headquarters, retail, and customer service to ensure operational excellence.
- KPI Management & Reporting: Track key performance indicators and provide insights to the team to meet and exceed targets.
- Inventory Control & Stock Reconciliation: Conduct regular inventory audits and investigate discrepancies, ensuring stock levels align with system records.
- Inbound Inventory & Materials Management: Receive and inspect incoming materials, guaranteeing quantities and quality meet requirements, while organizing stock for optimal production flow.
- Brand Advocacy: Represent and embody Cubitts' mission and values, educating colleagues and promoting our brand ethos.
