Your Role
As a project leader, you will meticulously oversee every aspect of a project, including time, budget, quality, and safety. In this role, you will be responsible for the organization and execution of one or several ongoing projects, particularly within the road construction sector. You will be involved in projects from the preparation phase, actively collaborating with clients, your team, and local residents.
You will leverage your familiarity with the work to share your vision on how to execute tasks more efficiently, quickly, and safely during project preparation. Collaborating closely with colleagues in both the preparation and execution stages, you will lead a team of 10 professionals from various backgrounds, collectively ensuring that project goals are met.
In your capacity as project leader, you will take full responsibility for the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to delivery and aftercare. Your priority will be to realize high-quality projects that yield positive financial results. Achieving this will involve maintaining proactive communication and agreements with various stakeholders, including clients and suppliers. Additionally, you will continuously monitor the progress of your projects and hold complete financial accountability from start to finish. You will prepare clear reports, for instance, concerning additional and reduced work, and ensure optimal utilization of materials and your team. Our projects, such as the redesign of Middenweg Heerhugowaard, the area contract WaakSaam for the Province of North Holland's decade-long management and maintenance, asphalt maintenance in Alkmaar, and the large-scale maintenance team for Julianaweg Volendam, reflect our ambition to combine quality and sustainability.
