We are on the lookout for a Prototype Engineer to become a vital part of our expanding Special Projects team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage foundational AI/ML research and integrate groundbreaking capabilities into the Higharc platform.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborating closely with our engineering team, you will test prototypes with users, assess results, and champion successful features to be included in our main product. Your role will involve:
- Designing and crafting tools that unveil AI/ML capabilities to autonomous agents, developing the orchestration layer that addresses complex use cases in the homebuilding sector.
- Integrating validated research outputs into the Higharc product, employing best practices within a large and intricate codebase.
- Connecting the Python ML/AI service layer with the TypeScript/React product, ensuring seamless API integration of new features.
- Establishing frameworks for the rapid evaluation, iteration, and deployment of prototypes.
- Engaging with customers through lab sessions to gather feedback, validate prototypes, and prioritize iterations based on real user insights.
- Acting as the main conduit between the research team and the product engineering team.
- Transforming experimental notebooks, fine-tuned models, and RAG pipelines into maintainable, testable, and deployable code.
- Gaining a solid understanding of the homebuilding domain to make informed decisions about which capabilities are critical and identify potential challenges in applying AI within this space.
