In this role, you will manage, mentor, and develop a talented team of QA engineers, balancing manual and automation testing. Your leadership will ensure that our QA processes align with client expectations and regulatory standards in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and expand a team of QA engineers focusing on both manual and automated testing.
- Efficiently allocate QA resources across various ongoing projects.
- Maintain discipline within a remote team, ensuring clear communication and visible progress on daily tasks.
- Align QA deliverables with client expectations and regulatory requirements in KSA.
- Develop and sustain automation frameworks using tools like Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Detox, and Postman/Newman.
- Create and manage comprehensive test suites for functional, regression, smoke, performance, and security testing.
- Enhance automation coverage across web, mobile, and API layers.
- Establish and promote QA best practices, including shift-left testing and continuous integration testing.
- Implement ITIL-aligned incident and problem management processes.
- Oversee the defect triage process, collaborating with PMs and developers for daily bug prioritization.
- Ensure stability of test environments, staging builds, and release candidates prior to production deployment.
- Lead root cause analysis for high-severity bugs and production issues.
- Identify and close gaps in requirements, processes, or tools to prevent recurrence of issues.
- Maintain QA dashboards and quality metrics.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and designers to clarify requirements.
- Engage in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure cross-functional teams understand the definition of “done” and quality gates.
