Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant scientific discipline, preferably chemistry. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a quality control role within an FDA-regulated environment. Experience with laboratory testing methodologies and analytical instrumentation. Familiarity with electronic laboratory information management systems (LIMS). Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Position: Quality Control Analyst

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio 45213

Duration: 4+ months (with potential for extension)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science-related field; a background in chemistry is highly desirable.
  • Have at least 1 year of relevant experience in an FDA-regulated setting.
  • Conduct routine chemical testing of raw materials and packaging components, adhering to USP or in-house methodologies.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses utilizing advanced analytical instrumentation.
  • Employ electronic laboratory information systems such as LIMS for efficient data processing.
  • Evaluate data against established specifications, promptly informing management of any out-of-specification (OOS) results or anomalies.
  • Conduct peer reviews of laboratory test results as necessary.
  • Maintain comprehensive laboratory records in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Must be capable of standing for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs on an occasional basis is required.
