As a Quality Control Specialist at Expresco Foods, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our production processes and products consistently meet the highest standards of quality and food safety. Your responsibilities will encompass conducting thorough inspections, collecting samples for analysis, monitoring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ensuring compliance with HACCP and SQF requirements. You will collaborate closely with production teams to identify and report any non-conformities, maintain precise documentation, and champion continuous quality improvement initiatives.
This is a full-time, on-site position at our production facility, with a rotating shift schedule between morning and evening.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-operational inspections and approve machine startup based on sanitary conditions;
- Collect samples and swabs for microbiological testing;
- Ensure proper calibration of metal detectors and scales;
- Train operators on quality procedures;
- Monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in production areas;
- Manage held and released products;
- Gather organoleptic and shelf-life samples and prepare evaluation forms;
- Perform organoleptic evaluations of products;
- Conduct inspections as part of the HACCP program;
- Ensure compliance with manufacturing processes;
- Oversee adherence to product specifications and quality traceability;
- Communicate non-conformities and customer complaints;
- Review and organize documentation;
- Engage in special projects;
- Comply with regulatory requirements and operational procedures established by the company to maintain high food safety and quality standards;
- Ensure product quality and safety, meeting SQF program requirements during assigned tasks.
