Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to deliver high-quality intraoperative fluoroscopic imaging via C-arm technology to support our outpatient surgical procedures. As part of a collaborative team, you will assist in preoperative assessments, ensure precise equipment calibration, and maintain comprehensive documentation of all C-arm procedures, thereby enhancing patient safety and surgical efficiency across our operating rooms.
Work Schedule:
Part-time during the Monday to Friday workweek.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute fluoroscopy (C-arm) procedures during surgeries, adhering strictly to physician directives and safety protocols.
Assist in the preoperative assessment and setup related to imaging requirements.
Verify proper calibration and maintenance of all equipment.
Keep accurate records of all C-arm procedures.
Monitor and apply radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and the perioperative team to ensure optimal surgical outcomes.
Engage in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
Act competently and calmly in emergency situations.
Enhance the overall patient experience through respect, safety, and compassion.
