What You Need to Succeed:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience in benefits administration plan configuration. Experience in the benefits administration industry is essential. Proficiency in SQL, MS Access, and strong Excel skills preferred. Exceptional analytical skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities; capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.

We are excited to welcome a Configuration Specialist to our dynamic team! The ideal Configuration Specialist will be dedicated to maintaining the integrity and precision of our data as it is transmitted to carriers. When employees of our clients require access to their benefits, we are there to ensure they receive it! The perfect candidate is action-oriented, a true doer, making to-do lists tremble in their presence!

The Role:

  • Engage in thorough review and validation of all raw materials.
  • Ensure system configurations are executed in line with requirements documentation.
  • Support and adhere to essential work processes for Annual Enrollment, New Services Implementation, and system build requirements for Acquisitions and Divestitures.
  • Conduct self-quality assurance on all system build activities.
  • Establish and maintain global process documentation, reporting any discrepancies.
  • Communicate daily with relevant internal partners regarding ongoing projects or tasks.
  • Accurately track capacity and productivity metrics through regular task updates.
  • Review open tasks daily, prioritize effectively, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Address escalated or global issues pertaining to system builds for clients.
  • Actively participate in training sessions related to new system functionalities and processes.
