About the role
About Us
At Secture Labs, we are a dedicated team of over 40 technology professionals passionate about delivering high-quality software, products, and services to our clients. If you are seeking a project or team that values software quality, best practices, and offers a fantastic work environment with colleagues from whom you can learn, have fun, and collaborate closely, look no further!
Our Culture
Our team is composed of individuals from diverse technological backgrounds, accustomed to agile methodologies and the flexibility they entail. We work remotely from various locations across the country, while actively fostering our culture through daily stand-ups (with fun activities included), spontaneous coffee chats, discussions, training sessions, in-person events, and let's not forget about our Discord channels!
At Secture, we prioritize our team, environment, and culture, and we are looking for individuals who share our commitment.
Your Responsibilities
First Month | Onboarding
We will sit down with you to explain our business model, introduce you to the team, showcase our workflow, and provide you with everything you need in your initial days. Our technology team will guide you through our tech stack, introduce you to all team members, and ensure you have the necessary context to understand the project and the environment in which you will work.
You will likely join in the middle of a sprint. Each day begins with a relaxed daily meeting at 10 AM, where team members briefly share their progress on projects, followed by separate team-specific stand-ups.
During this first month, both your development teammates and our project managers will be there to support you with anything you need related to your project.
Following Months
As you familiarize yourself with the project, team, and tech stack, you'll be able to assist in estimating tasks and developments that help prioritize the project backlog. Some sprints will include improvement work aimed at optimizing performance, refactoring, removing legacy code, and avoiding bottlenecks to enhance future scalability.
We actively encourage our team members to propose ideas and share suggestions freely, whether for improvements or new initiatives.
