The Role
As a Software Engineer at Viktor, you will play a crucial role in our development process. When a user requests Viktor to reconcile their Stripe payouts, you will ensure that it executes this task in real-time and with precision, leading to increased customer satisfaction and growth. Your mission includes expanding Viktor's capabilities, making it a benchmark for others in the industry.
In our remote working environment, you will collaborate closely with our founders, take ownership of significant product features, and witness your code being deployed to production on the same day you write it. We prioritize asynchronous communication, document our decisions thoroughly, and come together as a team several times a year.
What You'll Do
Develop the agent runtime. Focus on sandboxed execution, tool orchestration, and memory management to transform user commands in Slack into actionable tasks against real APIs.
Implement integrations. Connect Viktor to thousands of tools including Salesforce, Notion, Stripe, QuickBooks, HubSpot, and Shopify. You'll handle OAuth, webhooks, schema mapping, and error management, opening new avenues for customer engagement with each integration.
Manage infrastructure. With over 600K tool calls daily, you'll ensure Viktor remains fast and cost-effective through effective container orchestration and autoscaling strategies.
Launch user-facing features. Deliver functionalities directly to users via Slack and Teams, witnessing the impact of your work within hours.
Contribute broadly. With a small team and extensive scope, you will engage in projects beyond this description, showcasing your versatility.
