Qualifications:Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. A minimum of 3 years of experience in wireless design and desense evaluation for consumer-grade products across one or multiple wireless standards. Proficient in analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design and analysis. Strong technical knowledge of radio technologies such as WiFi, LTE, Bluetooth, and GPS. Good understanding of the physics behind radiated noise coupling mechanisms. Experience in PCB layout design and schematic creation. Proven track record in debugging and optimizing wireless products.

In this role, you will be pivotal in enhancing Skydio's RF system, which connects users to our autonomous ecosystems. As our intelligent flying machines become more autonomous, the expectations for range and bandwidth are escalating. This presents a remarkable opportunity to innovate within our existing architectures and to pioneer the next generation of RF frameworks and technologies. Your Impact:

  • Collaborate with electrical engineering (EE), RF, antenna design, and product development teams to optimize system performance.

  • Establish system-level requirements and specifications.

  • Design and develop wireless solutions across various technologies and standards in multiple frequency bands.

  • Conduct circuit-level analysis to troubleshoot design and desense issues while characterizing the nature of aggressor/victim interactions.

  • Identify noise sources and assist in system-level integration.

  • Support the end-to-end design process from concept through qualification, certification, and production testing.
